Sustainability

Marquette Mountain Resort aims to connect people to nature. We are committed to providing a space for future generations to enjoy. Here are just a few small efforts we’ve made.

Going Paperless

Beginning in the 2020/21 season, we created an online shop for season passes, lift tickets, and rental purchases, eliminating paper waste.

Investing in Efficieny

The mountain is equipped with LED lighting, which consumes less energy during night skiing. Our upgraded snowmaking system allows more water to be transported with less energy.

Restaurant & Bar

Our recycling and composting program diverts waste from landfills. We aim to increase the use of compostable to-go containers and phase out plastic.

Skip the Straw

Straws will only be served with drinks upon request. This is a simple & easy step towards protecting the Great Lakes from pollution.
